While The Vital Link offers many public courses, all courses listed below are available to a group of 10 or more as a private course. Private groups can set their own dates and times for training. Discounts may be available for larger groups.

CPR LEVEL A

This 4 hour course focuses on the procedures required to handle life threatening emergencies in adults. The course covers airway procedures, breathing emergencies and CPR along with how to recognize cardiac emergencies. The CPR Level A course is recommended for the general public. This course also includes certification in Automated External Defibrillation (AED).

CPR LEVEL B

This 5 hour course focuses on the procedures required to handle life threatening emergencies in all age groups. The course covers airway procedures, breathing emergencies and CPR along with how to recognize cardiac emergencies. The CPR Level B course is recommended for the families, general public and child care workers. This course also includes certification in Automated External Defibrillation (AED).

5 hrs   -   $55.00 (Tax incl.)

Note CPR Level B is no longer offered as a stand alone course, but is a core component of the EMERGENCY CHILD CARE FIRST AID COURSE.

CPR LEVEL HCP (HEALTH CARE PROVIDER)

This 6 hour course focuses on the procedures required to handle life threatening emergencies in all age groups. The course covers airway procedures, breathing emergencies and CPR along with how to recognize cardiac emergencies. Also included are two rescuer CPR, and bag-valve-mask. The CPR Level HCP course is recommended for all medical professionals. This course also includes certification in Automated External defibrillation (AED).

CPR LEVEL HCP RECERTIFICATION

This 3 hour course is fast paced and includes all skills taught in the CPR LEVEL HCP without the theory. The focus is on upgrading your skills to the newest standard. Pre-requisite is a current CPR Level C certificate or CPR Level HCP certificate. The CPR Level HCP Upgrade/Recert course is recommended for all medical professionals.
