Standard First Aid Course Contents:

1. The Red Cross: Learn about the esteemed organization that sets the standard for first aid and emergency response training.
2. Preparing to Respond: Gain essential knowledge on preparing yourself mentally and physically to provide effective first aid care.
3. The EMS System: Understand the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system and its role in emergency response.
4. Check, Call, Care: Learn the systematic approach to assessing a situation, contacting appropriate help, and providing immediate care.
5. Airway Emergencies: Discover techniques for managing airway obstructions and ensuring proper breathing.
6. Breathing and Circulation Emergencies: Develop the skills to identify and respond to respiratory and circulatory emergencies promptly.
