How did Vital Link get started?
Formed in 1992
Since then we have developed ongoing relationships to deliver training to a variety of agencies and institutions.
Small Classes
Classes (at your home & workplace) are small to ensure the best instruction and hands on training.
Endless relationships
The Vital Link and its services are highly sought after within the daycare and preschool networks.
Want to know about us and where we come from? Vital Link was created by Karen Clark in 1992. During this time, she delivered over 20,000 courses and taught well over 90,000 students. After a very successful career with Vital Link, she decided to retire in 2016, with the desire to leave the company to someone who could look after her brand and clients, guaranteeing courses of the same or higher quality than the ones she offered.
It was not a difficult decision for Karen to leave her legacy to Bryan, as they have known each other for over 15 years at that time. She has taken training with him and he had also been her instructor as well. In Karen’s words: “I have great respect for him. I love his enthusiasm, great attitude, and I felt comfortable that he would take care of my clients. That was extremely important to me as my clients were like a second family to me. We also talked about his vision for The Vital Link.
Bryan, the owner and operator of Pacific First Aid, has been teaching Red Cross First Aid and CPR courses for over 18 years. He has taught locally, provincially, and nationally. He has been a member of a variety of boards and advisory committees, and his input has been a valuable part of the Red Cross First Aid program development.
Much thought has been put in our training courses, content and implementation. We strive for an educational and engaging environment where we can showcase our passion for First Aid to every one of our students!
A brief note of our CEO:
“My passion to develop youths into leaders began when I was 16, way before I started my own First Aid company. I was fortunate enough to grow up with strong mentors I could rely on and role models I look up to. These people are the ones who inspired me to become a mentor and role model myself – especially to youths.
I combined my passion to mentor youths with my other passion – to teach others First Aid. Many past students have told me that their leadership skills and self-confidence were developed through learning this lifechanging skill.
I love that I’m able to share my passion with others by teaching them First Aid and knowing that they can use the skill one day if needed.
If you’re interested in having a dedicated team of experienced instructors teach First Aid to your students in a fun and interactive way, I would love for the opportunity for my team to work with you and your school.
Stay Safe,
Bryan”
